If you are a human you will start the workout with the first group.  If you are a Zombie you will start the WOD exactly 3 minutes after the living people and try to catch them!

*If you are a Zombie you must catch at least one person.  If you fail to catch somebody you must do a penalty of 25 burpees after the workout.

The only people who don’t do burpees are the living who don’t get caught and the Zombies who catch people.

Whether you are caught (as a human) or catch someone (as a zombie) you must both finish the WOD. A person can only be caught ONCE.

Steph Hammerman is an Adaptive Athlete, Motivational Speaker, and CrossFit Level -1 Certified Coach. She lives with Cerebral Palsy and has found her passion in bringing awareness and education about the Adaptive Athlete to anyone who will listen via Social Media, Coaching and her unique personal perspective Adaptive Seminars.

Stephanie Hammerman was a twin born three months premature, weighing 1 pound, 15 ounces and with a mild case of cerebral palsy (CP). CP is a result of the loss of oxygen to the brain causing it to affect motor skills. For Hammerman, certain messages sent from the brain to the rest of the body don’t connect as quickly. She is able to move around with crutches and uses a motorized wheelchair, allowing her to live completely independently. She is also able to drive with a van that has push-pull hand controls. The 22-year-old attends graduate school at Nova South Eastern University, studying college student affairs, and hopes to work as a residence director. Hammerman says she wants to be able to do everything her nine able-bodied siblings can do and is preparing for her next half and full marathons in hand cycling.
